Una pareja intentó tomarse una selfie a la orilla de un acantilado en el Parque Nacional
Yosemite, California, sin embargo se aventuraron a ponerse muy cerca de la orilla, lo que derivó en una tragedia.
La pareja cayó del acantilado
Taft Point, que alcanza una altitud de dos mil 285 metros. Visitantes del parque notificaron a las autoridades que habían localizado un tripié y una cámara fotográfica abandonados, lo que levantó sospechas.
Personal de seguridad del parque se dio a la tarea de localizar los cuerpos de
Vishnu Viswanath y
Meenakshi Moorthy , quienes habían visitado el parque, sin embargo no precisaron cuándo cayeron.
La chica de 29 años de edad era “adicta a la adrenalina”, así se calificaba ella misma en su cuenta de
Instagram donde publicaba fotos de diversos viajes, incluso desafiaba la muerte, pues se tomaba fotografías al borde de otros acantilados.

Meenakshi Moorthy se cuestionó si realmente valía la pena tomarse una foto donde arriesgaba si vida, pues aseguraba que una ráfaga de viento podía ser fatal.
